New Report sheds light on elephant health issues

Today, Edmonton-based veterinarian/zoologist Debi Zimmermann entered the Lucy the elephant dialogue with the release of her new report examining the Valley Zoo/Lucy the elephant debate.

Titled One Veterinarian's Search for Truth in the "Lucy the Elephant" Debate, the report provides a fresh new perspective on Lucy's situation and helps clarify many of the issues expressed in the debate about Lucy's health.

Dr. Zimmermann became interested in the Lucy debate earlier this year after observing coverage of the issue on local television.
